Offenburg, April 12, 2012 – The Supervisory Board of MEDICLIN Aktiengesellschaft (MediClin) decided to propose to the General Annual Meeting, taking place on May 23, 2012, to elect Dr. Jochen Messemer, Stephan Leonhard and Dr. Ulrich Wandschneider to the supervisory board.
Dr. Jochen Messemer runs for re-election after expiration of his mandate. Stephan Leonhard was appointed by the court and should be elected by the General Annual Meeting. Dr. Ulrich Wandschneider is recommended by the majority shareholder Asklepios Kliniken Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung, Hamburg, to be elected to the supervisory board, after Dr. Jan Boetius, supervisory board member and chairman of the supervisory board has resigned as of May 31, 2012. The Supervisory Board has also decided to propose Dr. Ulrich Wandschneider as candidate to become chairman of the supervisory board, if elected to the supervisory board, based on his industry experience for many years and in view of his function as Chairman of Corporate Management of the Asklepios-Group.
Dr. Ulrich Wandschneider has resigned as Board Member of the Management Board of MediClin as of May 31, 2012.
Jens Breuer, future CFO of MediClin, will take office already as of June 1st, 2012.
